The advanced course on “Sustainable and integrated management of water resources, soil protection and farming techniques adapted to climate change in arid and semi-arid regions” has been implemented by NRD- UNISS in partnership with the Observatoire du Sahara and the Sahel (OSS). It is  the result of the desire of the WADIS-MAR partnership and local stakeholders who accused a growing need to improve their own skills on this topic by recognizing the critical role that local government officials plays in carrying out European cooperation projects.
Targeted at Maghrebi managers, technicians and officials of public institutions and companies, it aimed at disseminating the best practises achieved within the WADIS-MAR demonstration project thus strengthening the participants' technical and management skills.
